Corporate Governance

The overall stewardship and corporate governance of CPC falls within the mandate of the Board of Directors. The Board regularly monitors risk assessment, financial planning, proper reporting, and communications. The Board of Directors works to ensure overall compliance with reporting requirements and regulations set out by the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The Corporate Officers are responsible for the day to day management of the business and reports to the Board at appropriate and regular intervals.

The Board is made up of independent Directors who were selected based on their experience and expertise in financial and business affairs. They act in the best interests of the shareholders through the formation of committees such as the Audit and the Compensation Committee.
